European Account Manager
Blizzard Entertainment is looking for a European Account Manager to grow its business in existing and new markets, dealing with local distribution partners. With the forthcoming release of World of Warcraft in Russian, the Russian market will be a very strong focus for this position. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years sales/account management experience in the games or entertainment industry.
Your Mission: As European Account Manager, you'll be responsible for dealing with Blizzard’s local distribution partners, predominantly in Russia but also in other European countries.
Location: Velizy, France (southwest of Paris)
Reports to: Executive Director of Marketing, Europe
Permanent work contract
Starting Date: Immediate
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the retail success of World of Warcraft in Russia
- Achieve defined sales targets via local distribution partners
- Create, present & implement yearly Business Plans across allocated distributors
- Continually report / feedback conditions of market situation
- Work in close cooperation with other internal Blizzard teams (eg: marketing)
- Oversee the operations & logistics to ensure smooth box distribution
REQUIREMENTS
- A confident, conscientious & results oriented individual
- Strong negotiator with excellent communication skills
- Engaging & diplomatic personality to quickly build rapport with people of different backgrounds & nationalities
- 3-5 years minimum experience in account handling; a deep knowledge of the Russian market would be a real plus
- Fluent in English & ideally Russian - French is not mandatory
- Knowledge of Blizzard games would be a plus
