Localization and QA Coordinator

Blizzard Entertainment Europe is looking for an experienced, motivated and highly organized professional to function as Localization and QA Coordinator. This person will take the lead on any localization and QA projects for Blizzard products except French, German, Spanish and Russian.

Location: Velizy, France (southwest of Paris) (a relocation package will be provided)
Permanent work contract
Starting Date: Immediate

• Liaise with agencies/vendors to ensure translations of Blizzard games and related assets for European languages (except French, German, Spanish and Russian) including negotiation, coordination, follow-up and providing all the assets for Localization and QA
• Ensure QA/tests of the European versions of Blizzard games and websites (except French, German, Spanish and Russian)
• Linguistic Coordination with other language team leads for the translations and tests of Blizzard games
• Ensure update and consistency of European glossaries (all languages)
• Reporting and monitoring for the Localization Manager

REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent English language skills
• Native European language skills
• Previous experience in game (PC/MAC and Consoles) localization and QA
• Excellent knowledge of Blizzard games' mechanisms and background
• Good knowledge of MMORPG, console games, RTS and FPS games
• Strong motivation and high level of commitment

• Experience in web localization and web technologies (HTML, CSS, XSL, Flash…)
• Previous experience as a team leader
