PARIS, France. - 11 January, 2007 -- Blizzard Entertainment®, developer of the award-winning real-time strategy game, Warcraft® III, announces its official Warcraft III Season 4 Global Finals will be held during the Intel® Friday Night in Cologne, Germany during January, 2007.

The Warcraft III Season 4 Global Finals will be held at Cologne’s Mediapark over January 25-28, 2007. The world’s 16 top Warcraft III players, as placed from regional finals for Asia, Europe and the Americas in Blizzard’s Battle.net® tournament ladder, will attend the competition.

Intel is the main sponsor of the Warcraft III Season 4 Global Finals, and the event is organised by Turtle Entertainment, operator of Europe’s major eSports league, the Electronic Sports League (ESL). GIGA, the European broadcasting station for games, eSports and lifestyle, will provide live coverage.
